We will not be running a competition round on Australia day, Wednesday the 26th of January. This season on Wednesday the plan is to give every team 14 games (a hatful of team will get 13), barring unforeseen interruptions we will achieve that. This is already the longest season in Melbourne.
However there is likely to be many teams that wish to play next week. Therefore our plan is to run a short format tournament round (2 short games) for those teams that want to play. Those gamed will be refereed but they will not be for competition points. In order to prepare a fixture teams should let us know before Sunday night. A fixture will then be published at lunch time on Monday.
Teams that may have a large number of individuals keen (but not a full team) should also let us know. As we may be able to merge teams for the evening
