Sub Unit Skills

We have already covered the area of Individual Skills, so now we look at Sub Unit Skills. The basic Sub Unit Skill is performed by two or more players but not by the whole team.

These skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Wrap
  • Wrap Defence
  • Switch Pass
  • Switch Pass Defence
  • Settling (running the ball up)
  • Settling or ruck defence

We cover a few of these skills in other sections of this site. In the meantime let’s have a quick look at some of the skills you will be covering in this section.
