If you are playing regularly on a team, you are required to be a member of our association and if you are not already you are in the right place.
PPT is very different to any other organisation you will ever join and its important you understand why. So please spend 5-6 minutes doing the on boarding properly. Trying to skip through it or not answering questions properly in full may mean you have to do it again or even have your membership declined. 5-6 minutes is nothing in the context of the season you are playing or the 20 plus season we hope you play (and many are playing). Let’s do it!!

I think consensus from our team is leaning towards the Great Northern because it feels a little more relaxed, but it is not a super strong view.

Hi Pete,
After visiting the Wild Geese for the first time last week I was impressed by the food and the bar area. I think it would make a great pub for winter.
I agree walking distance is important when I drove to wild geese last Wednesday I spent 10mins driving around trying to find a park and ended up parking in Barkly square car park, pretty much the same distance away as the club. Therefore next time I reckon I will just walk u
We all went to wild geese last night with the other teams and loved it for winter.
Slightly Touched is in favour of the wild Geese pub option for winter
Vote informed by the preference of my team DTMCICTTE , I was unable to make it last week but the slight majority preference was GN (vote 6-4)
Wild geese kitchen closing at 9pm was noted as one reason for favoring GN
I appreciated the shorter walking distance of the Wild Geese, and like the idea of having a different winter pub to the summer pub (variety being the spice of life). I also felt that the Wild Geese was cozier, in cold weather, than the Great Northern.
Also, we vote for the wild geese for winter sponsor. They were good hosts for the origin game a few weeks back.
Although the walking distance and the food make the Wild Geese an attractive venue, I felt that the space available to the teams did not allow for the kind of collegial gathering we crave after a game. There were many families and couples very well dressed trying to enjoy a nice evening out and it clashed with the muddy and sweaty team that walked in.
distance is a great concern to hangout after the game
Walking distance
Not strong preference though, we like how close the Wild Geese is too!
Tried the geese and it was below par
