Wednesday week 14 – semi finals and playoffs

Our last two weeks on Wednesdays are finals and playoffs. Whether the game is a semi or a friendly is noted.

In finals there is no extra time so in the event of a draw the team placed higher on the ladder goes through (listed first in the fixture). And all finals are played under finals eligibility. Every player must have played 4 games and be on the team list. If teams need to vary this their captain must seek approval from our committee before the match is played.

Importantly PPT is about participation. Therefore teams missing out on finals still playoff for positions, so if your team misses finals you are still playing this week and next week.

Also noting:

1. Start times have now moved forward as whilst we will likely have lights we cannot rely on them
2. Three semi finals are identical match up to the last round of the regular season (this is not a mistake.
3. The three teams playing on field 5 are playing two 20 minute games (hence the offset kickoff time for one match up).
4. Midlife trysis and Dunneworthy have a bye as they are straight through to the A grade grade final in week 15
