At PPT we consider a representative player anyone who has, within the last 10 years, either:
- Represented an Australian state (or equivalent level) or their country at touch at any age group from under 16s through to under 50s or
- Played VT League during that time (or interstate/NZ equivalent)
- Played professional rugby union or league during that time.
Our weeknight competitions are social, with an emphasis on learning and fun. We have found that players learn the sport faster if experienced players are spread throughout the teams, rather than playing together and as such this rule is enforced.
The committee may approve exceptions to this rule on prior application
