winter 2014 ladders - Archived

This content has been archived and may be out of date.

This season there will be three finals series held over weeks 15 and 16, with trophies for the winning teams.

A grade finals

These will be for teams finishing 1-3 in A Grade. The team finishing first will go straight through to the grand final in week 16 but will play a practice match on week 15. The teams finishing 2 and 3 will play one another in the preliminary final for the right to go into the grand final in week 15.

A2 grade finals

These will be for teams finishing 4-7 in A grade and will be played in a semi final and grand final format. Given the changing nature of the top grade this season I think it is fair to give those teams that are playing up a level a chance to win a trophy.

B grade finals

These will be for teams finishing 1-4 in B grade and will be played in a a semi final and grand final format.

All players must also note there will be no extra time in the event of a drawn final or semi final. In these cases the team higher on the ladder will be considered the winner.

Teams not playing finals

Most importantly those teams finishing not playing finals  still play during weeks 15 and 16 (subject to one team having a bye each week), as friendly matches will be fixtured. Everyone gets a run at  RPT!
