The Princes Park Touch website is run on the LocalHero platform ( the platform).

This platform used by Princes Park Touch (and others) to run their website and organisation. This document explains the information that is collected and how it is used to maintain your privacy.

The platform is a service run by the LocalHero Organisation

What is Personal Information is collected?

Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information collected may include names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers.

This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including website forms, data entry, interviews, members profiles updates etc.

The platform collects your Personal Information for the primary purpose of allowing the organisations on the platform to run as separate membership organisations. Noting that this information is only available to the organisations once you have applied for membership of that organisation

The LocalHero organisation may also use this information for the secondary purpose of understanding its users and improving the platform

Sensitive Information

Sensitive information is defined to include information or opinion about such things as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, or memberships.

The platform provide tools for organisations that use the platform to collect such information. That information is stored separately and is not used by the LocalHero Organisation.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Your Personal Information may be disclosed in a number of circumstances including the following:

• Where you become a member of an organisation that uses the platform

• Where required or authorised by law.

The LocalHero organisation does not pass on your information to third parties and if this was to change you would be informed and provided an opportunity to remove that information

Security of Personal Information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Access to your Personal Information

You may access the Personal Information the platform stores to update and/or correct it (subject to certain exceptions) by logging into the platform.

How PPT uses your data

The platform gives us access to phone numbers and email addresses of visitors who leave their details in comment and lead generation forms.

The platform also collects residential addresses, other contact details, sporting details, gender, and birthdates of users. This information is only passed to us when they become or apply to become a member.

When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

The platform also collects data about visitor behaviour but only gives us access to visitor behaviour on our site.

How we use that data

As a membership organisation we use that data for contacting and understanding our members and potential members.

As a sporting organisation we use the sporting, gender, and birthdate information for understanding our members and running our social sporting competitions and other teams

Do we share that data?

As a member we may give other members access to your basic contact details (phone, email, and mailing address). We shall ensure this only occurs for club matters only.

Our social sporting competitions are affiliated with Touch Football Australia, therefore if you have played in those competitions we may pass on your contact and sporting details to them

If required to be law we may pass on your details to the government (noting this has never happened).

Otherwise we do not pass your details onto anyone, have no plans too, and if this were to change we would let you know.
