This is week 7 for Wednesdays and week 6 for Thursdays, and we are just over one third of the way through our Summer social competitions. Therefore an update is in order. Issues detailed include draws, grading, uniforms, membership, team photos, and the social side.

Final Grades
As per the faq, grades are subject to change during the first half of the season. Next week all the mixed competitions will be broken up into grades but the composition of those grades will still be shuffled around until early in the new year when their composition will be finalised and the race for finals begins.
Membership faq

Uniforms
As per the faq, every team is expected to be in a uniform by week 3. We are now well past that and there are no excuses for players out of uniform. If you have someone filling in they either need to provide
Whilst most teams are very good, there are several teams who are not complying. Teams not in uniform are currently being penalised tries, but this may be escalated further. Players out of uniform not only reflect poorly on all us but also lead to a much worse playing and refereeing experience.
Photos
As you can see from the website I every week we take photos, over the course of the season we try to ensure every team has at least one formal photo taken. All these photo are uploaded to the website and if Facebook is your thing follow the link on each post to the facebook album and tag away.
We shall begin team photos this week so please cooperate with our photographers as the window they have for capturing your team formally is limited.
Signing on/Check in
Please ember everyone needs for every player to sign on every week. But signing on is not only for contact tracing. It is also vital for your insurance cover, finals eligibility, and membership of PPT. If you are not signed on you are not covered for insurance and not qualifying for finals.
Social Side
We pride ourselves on being the social comp.
Every week we are inviting 2-4 teams to join us for presidents drink at the BBQ in an effort to get to know them. But for those not invited that week they are encouraged to bring their own drinks and have a drink in the park post game.
Also week the referees have beer vouchers available so whether you win or lose ask the referee on your field after the match and he should have one for your team and get down to our sponsors the Great Northern Hotel.
