Firstly welcome on board for another season of social touch, this is just a heads up of a few things before our season starts in just over three weeks
Teams Fees
Full fees for the season are $1300 ($10 more than last season), this is split between a $500 deposit plus $800 residual. For those teams who have not yet paid the deposit ($500), it is now due and unless arrangement have been made with us we expect it before week 1 (we have have already turned away 4 teams that wanted to get involved and where willing to pay immediately)

Preseason night and individuals
On the 10th of May we have our second preseason night:

This night is primarily geared towards individuals and finding them a home. However if teams want to come down for a run please let us know and we will try to provide a referee and/or coaching.
Given the large number of individuals we need to place, please let me know if you need extra players and I will send them through.
Draws
Formal competition starts on the 17th of May and the draw will be published the weekend before and will be available here: https://princesparktouch.com/social-competition/
Weeks one will be a grading round with two half length games for all teams. Grading rounds along with your team nomination will be used to determine your teams ultimate grade for regular season play. Please note that given there are plenty of new faces mismatches in grading may occur. But grading enables us to match teams closely over the remainder of the season.
Pitching In
Unlike most competition we are members run. This season the emphasis is on extending the opportunities for players and the players pitching in theselves. The key way is to join the refereeing ranks. It is good fun, social, and well paid.
