This week we are going to address state of origin, uniforms and fees.
State of Origin
This week is the week 3 and one of our state of origin weeks. This means no 9 pm games. The game will be on the big screen at Hardimans Hotel so if you are playing in the first two slots grab a voucher and get along to the pub.
If you are playing in the 3rd slot 8:10, then you have the option of catching the second half at the pub or on the big screen in the clubhouse where you can join Pete and Brad etc for a slice of Pizza.
Uniforms
It is important that teams are in proper uniforms.
For the first 5 weeks a team is considered in uniform if that a team is clothed in tops (t-shirt, polo, etc) of a similar colour. The tops do not need to be the same but they do need to be close enough in colour and design that the referee can tell players are on the same team.
After week 5 there is an additional requirement for unique numbers on the back of each uniform, numbers can be in taped, drawn, or pinned on but they must be legible to the referee. Teams may be penalised for players not in uniform. The penalty will be in the form of tries per player not in uniform awarded to the non offending team (up to a maximum of 2 tries). So you have three weeks to sort it out (before penalties will be applied).
Fees
All teams should have paid their deposit by now, payment of the balance is due by next week so our treasurer Brad will be chasing up teams.
