Guys,
this season we are kicking off something new! Before every game, every week we will be addressing both teams collectively. This will give us the opportunity to communicate to teams important information, answer questions, and provide coaching tips. If you are reading this post you will hear the same information before your game on Wednesday evening.
This week we are going to address grading, fees, refereeing, and the our pub sponsor Hardimans.
Grading
This week and next are grading rounds, they don’t count towards your teams final ladder position. These round along with your team nomination will be used to determine your teams ultimate grade for regular season play. But also note that teams can and will be regraded after grading is over.
Please note that given there are plenty of new faces mismatches in grading may occur. But grading enables us to match teams closely over the remainder of the season.
Fees
As this is week your the first installment of the teams fees are now overdue. So if the deposit hasn’t been paid our treasurer (Brad), will be contact over the coming week to chase up payment.
Refereeing
We have three new referees this week who have come down. Please show some patience while they learn the ropes, as they are vital to our sport. If you are keen to join the refereeing ranks please let us know. It is ab great opportunity to have fun, keep fit, make friends, earn money, and will make you a better player
Hardimans
The motto of our comp is social touch football in the heart of Melbourne. As such over Winter we have a really good pub sponsor. As such a voucher entitling the team to a free jug of beer at Hardimans Hotel will be offered to every team every week.
