A draw for week 1 (grading round 1) has been published and is available here: https://princesparktouch.com/social-competition/

This is for week one grading only. Our first two weeks are grading rounds and the results do not count towards regular season places. However all teams should note that I will do further regrading during the first half of the regular season.

Teams will have byes from time to time so it is possible your team will have a first week bye (if so will be noted on the below draw). Please note the following points:

  1. There were some small changes to the draw yesterday so please double check your teams details
  2. The format will be two half length games for every team (the referees will explain it on the night).
  3. The council have so far only marked fields 1, 2, 3, and 4. They have promised to mark fields 5 & 6 by Tuesday the 20th for week 1 on Wednesday 21st. However if they have not done so by Tuesday evening those teams fixtured for fields 5 & 6 will have their games postponed. In the unlikely event games on fields 5 and 6 are postponed it will be posted to the website on Tuesday evening. Fields are marked we are good to go!
  4. As it is grading and we have new teams mismatches can and will occurr, we run grading to try to prevent having those sort of mismatches during the regular season.

Some other important points.

Refereeing

We have had some injuries, pregnancies, and moves so we need new blood in our referee ranks. As such I will be approaching each to individually to ensourage their players to get involved with refereeing. But if there is anyone who has done the course who wants to get involved please put them in touch with me

Membership

As we are a competiton owned by our members (that is the players and referees). It is important that we ensure all players are ergistered. As such I will be uploading the rego forms that you have submitted and also send each captain information on how they can mainatin their playing lists for the season.

Finally I’d just like to say it is great to be back, we are still the biggest one night of touch in the stat and our regular teams just keep coming back. I can’t wait to get out there Wednesday evening.
