All women no matter what their level of play are welcome to attend our women’s program (SWITCH).
Our next program is tentatively scheduled for Thursdays nights, starting in early October:
- PPT Switch Spring 2022 week 1 – 6th of October
- PPT Switch Spring 2022 week 2 – 13th of October
- PPT Switch Spring 2022 week 3 – 20th of October
- PPT Switch Spring 2022 week 4 – 27th of October
The program will be followed by our Summer 2022 women’s competition, which will run in November and December.
What is SWITCH?
Twice a year Princes Park Touch in partnership with VicHealth run a FREE learn to play touch and fitness programs to Strengthen Women in Touch Football (SWITCH).
These programs run for 4-5 weeks and are targeted at females who are new or inexperienced players.
The program teaches basic fitness, ball skills and an introduction to game play with the emphasis on having fun in what we believe is the best game. We supply everything, all you need to bring is yourself and your playing gear.
The program will be predominately run by experienced female players who can also share their experiences. For those without a team the program also incorporates the options of being placed into a mixed or (over in Summer season) a women’s team in our social competitions (this is usually handled before those seasons start).
Note if you’ve registered before there is no need to sign up again. You are already part of SWITCH.
