Team and individual Registrations are open for our Summer 2026-27 touch football (also called touch rugby) competition, located in Melbourne’s heart: Princes Park on Wednesday and Thursday evenings

To enter a team or join as an individual follow these instructions:

Individuals

If you are an individual or small group without a team, wishing to be placed into team please use our Individual Players form and follow the instructions.Every year we place large numbers and there is no cost for placement.

New Teams

To enter a new team (i.e. a team that has not played with us before). Please ensure you have familiarised yourself with this seasons competition. Then download and complete the following Team Registration Form and email it to: info@princesparktouch.com.

If you have not collected all your players details do not worry (we will send you a link where you can add additional names later), just ensure the following are details are recorded:

• Team name
• Captains or primary contacts details (phone number and email)
• Approximate standard of team, note your actual grade will be determined over the grading round(s)

Once we have received your form we will hold a place for you in the competition.

In October and November we will be providing team coaching for existing teams and training and refereed scratch matches for unaligned players looking to start playing touch or those just keen to upgrade their skills or get back into it.

Thursday, March 11, 2027 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM AEDT Final week – Grand finals/playoffs for mixed This week is grand finals and playoffs for mixed.  In finals there is no extra time so in the event of a draw the team placed higher on the ladder is declared the “winner”. Importantly teams missing out on grand finals still playoff for final position, so all mixed teams will be playing this week. Princes Park Touch is primarily a social organisation. As such we highly encourage all mixed teams to join us at the Great Northern Hotel for our presentations and an end of season drink at the conclusion of this night (extra drink vouchers will be available). Thursday, February 25, 2027 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM AEDT Mixed regular season round 10 Grand finals/playoffs for men Men’s teams will play in the last two time slots of the night, on fields 1, 2, and 4. With grand finals in the 3rd time slot. During the night there will be a free BBQ and drinks for men’s teams and the presentations will be held next to the desk near field 1. Mixed grading round 1 Men’s regular season round 1 Women’s regular season round 2 Week 1 is a grading round comprising two half length games (equal to one full length game) for all mixed teams. Grading games are used to assess the level of play for teams. Please note this is grading so mismatches will occur  as we have news teams and new players across all teams. But grading helps us better match teams for the rest of the season. Women’s and Men’s games are full length competitive games for, but the current mens grade will be split in two shortly and we have several new teams (so some mismatches may occur in week 1) Please also note the high number of mixed byes will disappear when the women’s competition is completed at the end of November.
