<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is the difference?</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Princes Park Touch Association (PPT) is an incorporated association owned and run by its members. Every regular player is required to become a member of our association. But as  membership of PPT is typically for life that only needs to be done once. Princes Park Touch’s aims are social rather than sporting and the majority of members do not play.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Touch Football Australia (TFA) is the national body for Touch Football. It is separate organisation and structured as a company owned by the state touch football bodies</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is changing?</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To play Touch Football we are affiliated with the governing body of the sport Touch Football Australia (TFA). TFA now mandates that every team registered with an affiliate, like us, is also recorded in their system AND have at least 8 members who have paid their “TFA National Memebership”.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is TFA National Membership?</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is not a true membership (TFA is a company). However TFA registered players receive official insurance coverage for injuries sustained during sanctioned games and training nationwide and  TFA registration supports the development of touch football across Australia. As such every regular player should do it.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As insurance is now covered centrally on a per player rather than team basis PPT has reduced its team fees by an equivalent amount.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Separate systems</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Please understand that the two systems are separate and our system is the PPT website. My startup, that backs the PPT website, has offered to build an integration but atm the the systems are completely separate. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Therefore every season please:</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Register with your team with TFA</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The below link allows you to register with TFA and attach yourself to the team, in their system (each team must have 8 TFA members).</p>
