Twice a a year in Autumn and Spring, leading into our Winter and Summer season respectively, Princes Park Touch offers to the community the opportunity to learn and play touch football as part of our preseason programs.
These nights are fun and completely free. They are far more than come and try nights as they run over multiple evenings, are aimed at beginner and less experienced players, involve coaching and playing, are part of a club atmosphere, and are followed by the opportunity to socialise afterwards.
In an effort to build the social touch community in the inner north of Melbourne, we are running the PPT Spring pre season program.
In September and October we will be providing team coaching for existing teams and training and refereed scratch matches for unaligned players looking to start playing touch or those just keen to upgrade their skills or get back into it.
The preseason night will be used to assess unaligned players and place them into teams to play in the PPT Summer competition.
The first night is:
When: Wednesday the 25th of September at 6:30PM, add to calendar here
The second night is TBC but is likely to be on the 24th of October in Princes Park
Existing teams wishing to attend and take advantage of some coaching are requested to let us know and we’ll try to allocate an experienced coach specifically for their team. However informal coaching and formal refereed touch will be available for all those in attendance.
Male players who are available to play mens touch please contact me before the preseason night, I need to know earlier mens competition starts a week earlier
