This week bring us to week 16 of the competition. Our Summer competition is the longest in Melbourne but this week it reaches it conclusion.
This email addresses some of the fun stuff we are doing for our final night, including a free bbq and presentations, as well important playing information for teams!
As it is the last round the BBQ will be free, so if you are playing in the first two time slots. Grab a snag and watch the finals, before heading off to the GNH,
Yep we are giving away all our excess balls so come and grab one and practice your touch.
Drinks at Great Northern Hotel
Following the final time slot we will be adjourning to the Great Northern Hotel for presentations and an end of season drink. Please get a drink voucher from the your referee or the desk, there will be extra vouchers and we look forward to you joining us there.
Note we are deploying an extra temporary field in a special effort to ensure more teams play on our final night! And as per our faq:
captains who are struggling to field a team need to communicate with us, we are all about participation and every team needs an opposition!
Check the results and draw and see were your team is placed and who you are playing in the grand-finals and playoffs.
some other thing to note are:
We have been out and about taking photos and there are some fantastic team and action shots on the website as well as photos our lost property collection so let your team members know
With so many shots your team is bound to be there so have a look and click through to the PPT Facebook page if you want to tag yourself or your team mates.
List of players
Unfortunately the national body (Touch Football Australia), require us to keep a full list of players playing in our comp. As such if you have not sent in a full list of players please do so ASAP (unregistered players may not be able to play finals).
Grand Final uniforms and conditions
For those playing in grand finals, a big congratulations.
Please note the following. The uniform policy will be enforced i.e. all teams members must be in a uniform and have a unique number on the back (taped numbers are acceptable). Secondly as we are limited by daylight it is important we start on time and also in the event of a tied game the higher team on the ladder will be crowned champion (drop offs will not apply).
